Seeking Male Hula Instructors

Akala Dance Studio is seeking a Male instructor. Knowledge of Hula and Tahitian a must. Qualified individuals may also be apart of our professional production dance team. Pay is negotiable. Call Sanoe at 808-206-2300 for more information.

Hula Lessons Oahu

Akala Dance Studio is a Hula Halau based in Ewa Beach, on the island of Oahu. Our main location is at the Ewa Community Church. Come and join us for some of the best Hula Lessons in Hawaii. We offer classes to suit every stage of dancer from beginner all the way to professional. We will be adding new class locations soon. Make sure you check back often to see our updates. Elua Class (7-11yrs old)                                    4:00pm – 4:45pm
Elua Class 2 (inter. level 7-11yrs old)              5:00pm – 5:45pm
Elima Ladies Beginners (Hula Class Only)      6:00pm-6:45pm

Thursdays
Ekolu Class (12- teenagers)                            4:00pm – 4:45pm
Ekahi Class (4 – 6yrs old)                                 5:00pm – 5:45pm
Eha Class (teens and up advanced)               7:00pm – 7:45pm

TAHITIAN for ages 4 and up –   5:00pm-5:45pm

Additional practice for enrolled dancers/ beginners class for Tahitian dancers!  Make sure you bring a towel and water, and be prepared to sweat!

Here is an inside look at one of our Tahitian classes in Ewa Beach. The song they are dancing to is "Tahiti Tahiti". This is a very popular song amongst the popular Halaus.
